Questions

Position Print Design: common questions

A position (or placement) print is a design made for one fixed spot on a garment piece, such as a kurti front, neckline, yoke, border or dupatta corner, instead of an all-over repeat. It is drawn to the garment's exact measurements so the print lines up after cutting and stitching.

Mostly on kurtis, gowns, tops and dupattas, and on sarees with a printed pallu or border. They are common in Surat's ready-made and printed garment market.
